¹AND I saw on the right hand of him who sat on the throne a book, written inside and on the back and sealed with 7 seals. ²Then I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals? ³And no man in heaven above, nor on earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the book, nor look on it. ⁴And I wept exceedingly because no man was found worthy to open the book, nor look on it. ⁵And one of the elders said to me, Do not weep; look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Heir of David, has prevailed and he will open the book and its 7 seals.

⁶And I looked, and saw, in the middle of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having 7 horns and 7 eyes, which are the 7 Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. ⁷And he came and took the book from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. ⁸And as he took the book, the 4 animals and the 4 and 20 elders fell down before the Lamb, and everyone of them had a harp and a cup of gold full of incense, and these were the prayers of the saints. ⁹And they sang new praise saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals; for you were slain and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation; ¹⁰And have made them for our God kings and priests; and they will reign on the earth.

¹¹And I looked, and I heard as it were the voice of many angels around the throne and the animals and the elders; and their number was 10,000 times 10,000, and 1,000s of 1,000s, ¹²Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing. ¹³And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and all that are in the sea and all that are in them, I heard saying, To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever. ¹⁴And the 4 animals said, Amen. And the 4 and 20 elders fell down and worshiped him who lives forever and ever.
