The following provides a complete list of the regular articles on this website.
The following articles are in-order through the next links on each page. This is the normal reading order for the parts of the website that work like an electronic book.
Ryan and I have been at the Bible Time and related projects since late 1997. At first the project centered on the Bible Time website, but the materials and scope kept growing. We're now running a collection of websites, each driven by some specific discovery that we found along the way.
After years of faithful tithing, I revisited the question of Christian tithing. Are Christians supposed to tithe? I no longer think so, and this article gives my reasons.
The most fundamental debates over what the Bible says ultimately reduce to how we should interpet the book.
Jesus, the man, went up into heaven and left behind the counselor, the promised Holy Spirit. What does that mean? This article explores.
Who rules the world? Jesus does. When does he rule it? Now. Why do we care? It impacts most of the rest of our Christian experience.
Are you righteous? This is an odd question that is not preached well in most churches. This article explores Abraham's question about the rightous in Sodom.
NASA's Cassini mission sent back photos of Saturn's moon Iapetus in December of 2004. Those photos strongly suggest artificiality. This article explores the Biblical New Jerusalem and compares.
On my travels around I occationally run into "Satan Theology." Instead of focusing on Jesus, and ascribing to him all the honor and power that is due him, we find some "Christians" ascribing much of what is rightfully due Jesus to Satan instead. This is the "Bad News," (pardon the pun) and it requires a rebuttal, which I usually give in person.
Paul Phelps wrote the following essay on the word Armageddon. He argues the word means: The place in Syria of the gathering of the troops. This is better than the popular interpretations because his answer explains each clue without ignoring anything. Paul graciously gave permission to post this essay on the Bible Time web site.
The Bible Time Project has taken me around the world. On those travels I've met some of the most interesting people. On one such occasion I met a woman who had a son abducted by a U.F.O. After interviewing most of the key people involved I became convinced it had actually happened. Of course the people involved remember it differently, typical of shared traumatic experiences.

Jesus said, "You, don't understand my abundance!"
Ok, this was once an article called "Phil Stone's Biography," but biography is a little to skewed to what you'd expect in Business. I do have a history, though, and this article covers some parts of it.
As I travel around meeting people, one of the most common questions I'm asked is for my Statement of Faith. A brief, even 1 page, description of what I believe.
This is simply a survey of the occurences of the word "satan" in the Hebrew Scriptures. The word in question is here:
